Kahana Bay

The lovely sand beach of Kahana Bay slowly dips into the ocean as the Kualau Mountains dramatically rise in the background. This quiet beach cove is the perfect place to swim, body board, fish, hike and picnic. Tall beach pines surround the outskirts of the beach providing shade and serenity to this tropical paradise.

This is my favorite beach because my family can play and I can paraglide and land on the beach to have lunch.

If you want to take a tandem ride, click Wind Lines. On the Chatter Box, post the question, Is any one doing tandems today? You can either wait and watch for a reply or leave your cell.

If you squint you can see the paragliders. Little red dots just above the horn on the ridge silhouetted by the clouds.

This is a close up.
